Hi, I'm Yoohan Ko.
AV System Design Engineer | Audio/Video Integration & Networked AV Specialist | Software Engineer
Engineer turned AV systems designer, building modern audio-visual experiences through technical precision and hands-on integration.
About Me
I'm an AV System Design Engineer who discovered a passion for audio-visual technology through hands-on work in live production, broadcast infrastructure, and networked AV systems. What started as managing technical operations at a church evolved into a deep fascination with the art and science of AV system design—leading me to pivot from software engineering into full-time AV integration work.
My background in AI, cloud architecture, and software development gives me a unique technical foundation for modern AV engineering. In an industry increasingly built on IP-based audio (Dante), networked video (NDI), and control systems, my experience with networking protocols, system architecture, and troubleshooting translates directly into designing robust, scalable AV installations. I specialize in end-to-end AV system design and integration—from rack building and cable termination to system tuning, RF coordination, and broadcast workflows—for houses of worship, commercial spaces, and live production environments.
Whether I'm installing a Dante audio network, tuning a PA system with SMAART, configuring a multi-camera broadcast workflow, or training volunteers on system operation, I bring both engineering rigor and a genuine passion for creating exceptional audio-visual experiences.
